| Applications accepted | Parents are required to attend an orientation with the director. children enrolling in the pre-kindergarten program must be fully potty trained and self-sufficient and able to participate in all aspects of the program. parents and children are invited to tour the center and explore the environment. if it is determined that the program offered meets the particular needs of the child the parent is given orientation materials and the initial application packet. parent contract ? identification and emergency information ? consent to seek medical treatment ? parent's rights ? physical, social, developmental, and family history ? child's preadmission health history--parent's report ? child?s immunization records (for pre-kindergarten) ? physical examination record (for pre-kindergarten) enrollment is open to any child who meets the following criteria: ? children enrolling in the pre-kindergarten program must be fully potty trained and self-sufficient and able to participate in all aspects of the program. ? children with physical or emotional handicaps shall be accepted if it is determined that the child can interact positively with the other children in the center, that the child will benefit from the program, and that the staff is able to meet the special needs of the child along with the needs of the other children in the center. ? each child will be evaluated on an individual basis. we will work with the parents to determine if the child will be successful in our program. |
