| Acceptance criteria: | Priority is given to the principles of continuity for children already enrolled at Pacific Oaks. Although siblings of enrolled students will not be assured entry in succeeding years, they will be given priority. The following are the factors that are considered but not necessarily in any prioritized order because this varies from group to group, age, gender, siblings of a currently enrolled child, diverse family configurations, cultural and ethnic background, children with special needs, siblings of a child who formerly attended the Children's School, the children of Pacific Oaks employees, college students and trustees, as well as families living in the immediate neighborhood. After all these considerations, Pacific Oaks Children's School then reserves the right to make the final decision for admission. Although we understand that other schools base admission on date of application, test scores, financial contribution to the school, etc., please be advised that the above criteria is the only criteria Pacific Oaks considers in our admissions process |
