| Wait list | Yes |
| Deadline for applications | March 3 |
| Application Information | $250 |
| Acceptance criteria: | "Priority Status At all levels priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled students, staff children and children of alumni. In keeping with NNM?s commitment to diversity, priority may also be given to children of color. Children between the ages of 4 and 14 on our current wait list who are transferring from another Montessori school may also be given priority. Toddler Community (2 year olds) All applicants will be entered into a lottery to be held in March for the number of spaces available in both the 4 day and the 5 day programs. Results are sent by mail. Pre-School (3 year olds) This process has two phases. All applicants will first be entered into a preliminary lottery to be held after the deadline for new applications (January 19, 2007). This will determine a set number of families who will then be invited for a family interview. Applicants who are not interviewed will go onto a secondary wait list and be contacted should space become available. You will be notified in January about these results. In March a second lottery of those families who have been interviewed will determine which applicants will be offered spaces in our three to six year old program. These results are mailed in mid-March. Applicants who are not offered a space will go onto a wait list and be contacted if a space opens up. re-School and Elementary (4-14 year old) Your child?s name will be added to a current wait list and you will be contacted should a space become available at the appropriate level: 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, or 12-14. Preference is given to transfer students from accredited Montessori programs. If an applicant does not obtain a space in our school for the current academic year, parents can have their application roll over for the following school year. Letters are sent in October which ask parents to confirm their interest in keeping their child's application active." --taken from school website (www.nnms.org) |
