School Philosophy and Mission
Our preschool strives to provide a warm, safe and nurturing atmosphere with a wide variety of age appropriate activities designed to promote the social, intellectual, physical and emotional aspects of learning. Our teachers work to create an environment for the children to learn through active exploration and discovery. We stretch their imaginations and extend their learning by stimulating their thinking.

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
At the start of each day, each child is welcomed into the classroom by his or her teachers. The child can choose from several different activities set up in the room, such as imaginitive play, an art project, cooking with a teacher, listening to music, reading books, etc. During this time, the teachers spend time with each child, chatting about the activity they have chosen. The children spend one hour each day on the play yard which has a variety of structures to climb on, sand toys, water activities, tricycles and a wonderful child-sized grocery store and mechanics garage filled with toy food and tools. The children are given a nutritious snack provided by the school and careful attention is given to those who have food allergies and other special dietary concerns. The children also have 'rug time' to foster listening skills and their activities and stories are centered around a specific unit or theme.
