"The University of Akron Center for Child Development is jointly sponsored by the College of Education (Dean's Office) and the College of Fine and Applied Arts, School of Family and Consumer Sciences. The Center was first established as the "Nursery Center" in 1969. The professional faculty continues to provide a quality program for toddler and preschool children and their families"
