School Philosophy and Mission
"The goal of Christian Education is to provide each child the Academic, Spiritual and Social skills necessary to become Godly productive citizens. The Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) Our Academic program places a strong emphasis on "Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic" using a Phonics approach to learning. Our unique Kindergarten is not just a babysitting service or a playschool, but an enjoyable educational program designed to give your child a firm foundation for a lifetime of learning. Children are challenged to learn at their own level. Five year old Kindergarten graduates are able to read. The curriculum for the three year old class is based on developing readiness skills. They will also learn about letters and numbers in a fun but educational way. The four and five year old program includes phonics, numbers and writing. All classes will have Bible stories and activities as well as memory verses. Social skills, large and small motor coordination, and self-concept will be fostered in various activities such as stories, music, art projects and games.
