"The Scottsdale School is a Christian non-denominational school. Our foundation is Christ centered as we have both staff and families who share the same desire to share God's unconditional love. Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
"6:45 A.M OPen for child care
8:00 A.M All childrens taken to the playground for outdoor play if weather permits
8:55 A.M Preschool teachers bring their classes into building (bathrooms and hand washing first, water drinks second)then to classrooms
9:00 A.M Preschool begins
9:15 to 9:50 A.M -ALL CHILDRENS will BE GIVEN SNACKS
9:40 A.M Language activities
9:50 A.M Art Activity
10:05 A.M Play ground and Bathroom visit
10:25 A.M Music class or spanish class
10:55 A.M Learning centers
11:05 A.M Storytime
11:15 to 11:30 A.M Painting and floor play
11:30 A.M Reading/Language activities
11:45 A.M Preschool ends.
12:20 P.M. Naptime begins for "Nappers" ? "Resters" play on playground
1:00 P.M. "Resters" come inside to rest for 15 to 25 minutes, then have indoor play, music activity, art class up to 2:30 P.M.
2:30 P.M. "Nappers" go through their "wake-up" routine and the "Resters" go the playground ? Kindergarten ends and Kindergartens go outside also
2:45 P.M. Bathroom routine, hand-washing and drinks
3:00 P.M. Afternoon snacks (menu is posted in the school office)
3:30 P.M. Children have already been placed in age-level groups on the playground and begin to come inside for quite activities (art, manipulative games, puzzles, and listening activities)
4:30 P.M. Groups of children in age-level groupings are returned to playground
5:30 P.M Groups (usually two to three groups) come inside for floorplay
6:30 P.M. We close ? if there is ever a problem, please call early and we can better prepare for a parent being late for picking up a child ? there is $5 minimum late fee"
