School Philosophy and Mission
"At La Frontera, a child and family team approach is used for all children and families seeking services. This approach emphasizes the importance of family and the community in a child's health and development. The team consists of the child, his/her caregivers (e.g., parents, guardians), and anyone else the family wishes to include, such as a close relative, friend, teacher, CPS worker, probation officer, or other individuals who play an important role in the child's life. All team members work together to create a service plan that reflects the family's unique wishes, strengths, culture, needs, and values. The team measures progress together until the child and family's goals are reached"
