School Philosophy and Mission
"At Discovery Learning Center we are interested in the whole child...in his development socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually. Our well rounded program offers art activities, music, story telling, number and language readiness, dramatic play, science, social studies, interest centers and culinary art. We develop small muscle coordination through the use of our many manipulative materials. Our well shaded outdoor play area is not only used to develop large muscles, but also to have fun. Unlike most schools today, Discovery strives to assist the parent in developing strong Christian values. Your children are very special and our goal is to help build self esteem in each child and love for God. We also stress honesty and responsibility at Discovery Learning Center.
