School Philosophy and Mission
Life is a miracle. We know that this work is important. Your child's first five years go a long way towards laying a foundation for a happy and healthy life to follow.
Each of our Duck's Nest classrooms revolves around the development of both an individual and group social awareness. Our young students are taught to feel responsible not only to each other, but also to the environment and ultimately to all life on our planet. Believing that compassion and tolerance are among the highest virtues, Duck's Nest encourages children to appreciate human differences and cultural diversity.
It is our conviction that this approach will indeed serve our children well. Years from now, it will be not exactly what was said, but how it was said that will be remembered. And so we strive to give each child a deep feeling of being truly valued here... included and honored, as all children should be.
Parents are of special importance to Duck's Nest. As your school of choice, we join hands with you in laying significant building blocks in your child's earliest and most formative years. When you choose Duck's Nest you make a decision to entrust us with an important responsibility. We don't take that lightly.
Every Duck's Nest day is seen as a unique opportunity for each student to take the next step forward through play and social interaction towards their personal path of development.
