School Philosophy and Mission

Frog Hollow is a family style, in-home nursery school with a developmental approach to learning. The focus of our school is in the areas of nature, lots of time outdoors, and the arts including enrichment in music, movement/drama and visual arts.

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School

8-9am breakfast provided upon parental request

8:30-9:30am free play indoors, art activities set up

9-10am choice of indoor or outdoor play/art activities

10-10:20am snack time

10:20-noon depends on day of week:

Monday is music class and free play, Tuesday is story time at library for half of group/small group time for other half, Wednesday is movement class, then free play, Thursday is art class for older children (YAWS)/small group time for younger children, Friday is free play, art/puzzles, cooking, etc.. (choice of activities)

12-12:20pm lunch

12:20-1:30pm indoor/outdoor play, Tuesday/Friday is Tutland Park

1:45-2pm 2nd snack

2-3:15pm stories, story tapes, rest or nap time

3:30-4pm snack, get ready for parents by 4pm
