School Philosophy and Mission
HOME Sweet HOME Mission: The mission of the Home Sweet Home Child Care Center is to provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for the children. We are committed to recognizing the individuality of each child.
Our program promotes individual growth using learning experiences that allow each child to develop at his or her own rate.
Our program, curriculum and activities reflect each developmental stage. Home Sweet Home staff and youth are dedicated to providing quality childcare. We will build partnerships with parents to support the safety and development of each child.
The children's schedule throughout the day provides for a balance between active and quiet play; individual, small and large group exercises; and indoor and outdoor activities. Such learning and play activities include: cooking, gardening, dramatic play, children's literature, block building, art projects, science/math exploration, manipulatives, nature experiences and walking field trips.
