School Philosophy and Mission
The Lake School is a small, private nonprofit preschool founded on the premise that an organized and enriched environment promotes the child's development, sense of self, and understanding of the world.
The Board of Directors and faculty are dedicated to providing a supportive and stimulating program in which the child's needs are recognized and skills and interests are broadened. The individuality of each child is encouraged while social behavior such as cooperation and respect for others are promoted.
With a comprehensive pre-kindergarten program, the school offers a learning experience that reinforces the child's fundamental need to learn and to play in a joyful and challenging environment.
