School Philosophy and Mission
"Gan Malibu offers a unique program for children ages 2 - 5, combining the philosophy of Montessori education with the joys of Judaism.
Children will receive the beauty and richness of Jewish traditions integrated in to their daily routine and curriculum.
Daily performances of Mitzvoth (good deeds) and Midot (acts of kindness) take place alongside the learning of shapes and numbers, and exploring the mysteries of the world.
While we nurture academic potential, our goal is to spark the ?love of learning? in each child. Your child will be surrounded with warm and caring teachers who will help them to reach their fullest potential.
Our stimulating environment is designed for your child to discover the world through his exploration. A wide variety of experiences including group activities, work centers, free-choice time, one-to-one instruction, outdoor play, creative and perceptual movement, as well as art, cooking, drama, gymnastics and music are offered.
While traditionally Montessori based, we have expanded the curriculum to include the needs of our children of the millennium. Every child is individually evaluated and provided with a program encompassing his emotional needs and helping him to achieve his maximum potential.
We work very closely with parents know that this is an important time in your child's life.
Gan Malibu provides a safe and positive place for children to begin learning about the world outside the family. Encouragement is constant and plentiful as each child learns to interact with others and effectively express feelings and needs. We take great care in fostering self-esteem.
Your child's experience here will be rich and full. We welcome Jewish families from all walks of life. Our approach to Judaism is best described as fun-filled and joyous. Children will experience the richness of our Jewish culture through age appropriate activities designed to let them discover the beauty of their heritage
