"St. Bernard Catholic Preschool is designed to promote the emotional, social, spiritual, cognitive and physical development of each child.

We focus on creating a warm and accepting environment which contributes to the development of a positive self-esteem as well as encouraging cooperation and interaction among children.

Skills to enhance independence, self-reliance and problem solving will be developed.

A variety of learning situations will be provided to stimulate creativity and encourage exploration and investigation of the environment. There will be opportunities for both gross and fine motor development in both indoor and outdoor settings.

We feel that a molding and mixing of a friendly, secure, warm and safe atmosphere is conducive to the continued healthy development of children.

A goal of St. Bernard Catholic Preschool is to work with parents to prepare the child for successful future school experiences. In order to achieve this, a close relationship will be maintained between school and home."
