At the preschool level, there is a good balance of academics and free play. Kids are learning their alphabet and numbers, learning how to trace and hold pencils/markers, how to use glue scissors, etc... And, there is the importance of learning how to get along with each other and play with each other. The school lets the 3yr olds be kids and learn at the same time.
