Kitchen Bowling
ages 2-5
Supplies
Empty plastic bottles, tennis (or other) balls
Activity Detail
Another indoor, rainy day activity. Raid your recycling bin for a bunch of plastic bottles. Stand them up on the floor in a group. Then have your players stand a distance away, and take turns rolling a ball towards the 'pins.' You can give each child three tries, and score according to how many bottles they tip over. Tennis balls work well.

What fun! My little one liked standing the bottles up and then crashing them all down. What raucous simple fun! Much better than forking out money for those bowling games at the toy store!

If playing this game on a carpeted surface, try filling the bottles with a little sand or some beans to help them stand up better.
